Mount Austin High School Access Upgrade Project

We supplied and installed all the structural steel, bondek, edge form, balustrading and workshop drawings for the Mount Austin High School access upgrade project. We also did a detailed 3D survey to ensure proper alignment and fit up on site.

The scope included a two storey link way approximately 65 metres long that ran between three existing buildings and another two storey link way approximately 30 metres long that ran between two existing buildings.

There was over 900 work shop drawings for this project and fabrication tolerances were +/- 1mm because of the amount of assemblies (300 plus) bolted together in a single line.

This project required very experienced draughtsmen, fabricators and riggers to ensure everything went smoothly. All this was done in house at Rambler Welding Industries.

All the steelwork & balustrading was hot dip galvanised to the relevant AS. Our experience with BIM, structural steel fabrication and erection meant the project was delivered on time and on budget.
